Today is Wednesday, March 25th
The Governor of Rhode Island is requiring businesses which are open to the public to close their doors (with essential business exceptions) until further notice. We are able to stay open because we live and work in the same historic mill building. As 'makers and craftspeople' the bindery is not open to the public. Going to work as simple as walking downstairs every morning. We take the severity of the situation seriously, and as such the bindery is only open to UPS and Postal Service pick ups and deliveries. We're receiving materials and continue to make books and ship them within our standard delivery time.
No doubt you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the state of affairs right now. We are too and are practicing appropriate safety measures to protect the wellbeing of those vulnerable members of the community and in our immediate families. It’s an unprecedented time for all of us these days and by focusing on the good we are finding ways to still connect with loved ones and show appreciation for one another, even while we maintain social distancing.
Please take care of yourself, both for your own sake and for friends and family. Stay safe, stay informed, stay busy and stay creative if you can. Let us know if you have any questions about ordering, or our books, or anything. Use the contact form on our Contact page to send us a message, or call us direct at 401 728 0762. We're usually in the Bindery by 9:00 and leave around 4:00 (EST). Thank you - Jason & Ilira
