A jug full of binder's glue
Today is Friday, April 10th
Rag & Bone Bindery is open for business
(read our post from Wednesday, March 25th for more information about how we're able to remain open for business)
I made a new jug to hold our binder's glue. The five gallon bucket the glue ships in is too heavy to pour into small glue trays, the glue goes everywhere and fifty pounds of glue is a bit much to wrangle. I like working on small projects like this after work which don't necessarily boost efficiency, but make the bindery a nicer place to work, I guess.
It's Friday and we're finishing up books from the week. I'm drilling the holes for sewn Paper Page Albums, Baby Books and Anniversary Journals. We have a room dedicated just for drilling where we keep pages for the books and where the noise from the drill machine doesn't bother the studio. Ilira is packing up orders and making scrap paper packs to ship with our journal orders this week.
We're so happy to be able to continue to make books and to help you be creative in your own way. Please remain safe and take care of friends and family while we stay close to home doing our best to #flattenthecurve.
We'll update the blog again tomorrow.
Contact us anytime if you have questions about ordering or our books, use our contact page to send us a direct message, or call us at 401 728 0762. We're usually in the Bindery by 9:00 and leave around 4:00 (EST). Cheers! - Jason
