What began in 1990 as a shared interest in bookbinding and all things bookish between owners Jason Thompson and Ilira Steinman has grown into more than 36 years of making books together. Today, every Rag & Bone Bindery book is bound by hand in our historic mill building in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, with the same attention to craftsmanship, materials, and timeless design that has defined our work from the beginning.
